Every file migrated, every mailbox migrated, every database record migrated gets verified post-migration with file-count reconciliation, hash verification on sensitive datasets, mailbox-item-count comparison between source and target, and database row-count verification with checksums on critical tables. The verification produces a written audit trail the customer's compliance contact can hand to a HIPAA OCR auditor, a PCI QSA, a cyber-insurance carrier, or a customer-base security questionnaire response without scrambling for evidence later.

EHR, DMS, PMS, ERP, CRM, accounting, and the dozen smaller line-of-business apps that anchor the customer's operational reality each carry vendor-specific migration paths. We coordinate with the vendor's professional-services team (eClinicalWorks, NetDocuments, iManage, ProLaw, athenahealth, QuickBooks Enterprise, the long tail) to scope the migration correctly, schedule the cutover around the vendor's professional-services availability, and handle the post-migration validation against the vendor's certified-OS-and-environment envelope. Skipping the vendor coordination is the single most common cause of post-migration EHR or DMS performance regressions.

Medical practices migrating PHI need BAA portfolio reconciliation with the new cloud provider, encryption-at-rest and encryption-in-transit verification documented as audit artifacts, access-control configuration aligned to the practice's existing Security Risk Assessment, and the post-migration Security Risk Assessment update completed as part of the engagement.
